Syracuse, N .Y. — Two lanes are closed on Interstate 81 in Syracuse Monday after a tractor-trailer and a dump truck crashed.
The two right lanes of the three-lane highway are closed on I-81 North before Exit 18 (Adams Street; Harrison Street), according to 511NY reports.
Around 1:08 p.m., an Amazon tractor trailer and a dump truck carrying asphalt collided, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatch reports. The two trucks blocked off the middle lane on the highway.
Dispatchers reported asphalt was dumped into the road and called for the city Department of Public Works, according to dispatch reports.
Two people were being evaluated for injuries, they said.
